Travis Scott will issue full refunds to everyone who bought tickets to his deadly Astroworld concert — and has canceled his appearance at a festival in Las Vegas this weekend, according to a report Monday.
Sources told Variety that the rapper is “too distraught to play” at the Day N Vegas Festival, which was scheduled for Saturday, after eight concertgoers died amid a crush at his 50,000-strong event in Houston on Friday.
The outlet reported that the 30-year-old rapper will provide full refunds for all the fans who bought tickets to the ill-fated show.
Like Astroworld, Day N Vegas is a general-admission festival where attendees are left to jockey for prime spots in the audience, the outlet said.
Scott had been scheduled to perform on the main stage from 10:45 to 11:45 p.m. Saturday, following sets by Lil Baby and Doja Cat, according to Variety.
Rapper Roddy Ricch — who performed at Astroworld before Scott took the stage — has a main stage slot at Day N Vegas on Friday, the outlet said. He announced that he will donate his earnings from the Houston show to the victims’ families.
